Corner Seal Fitment

I am having a little trouble fitting a corner seal in and having move up and down smoothly. This is a s4 t2 motor. It will move up and down a little, just not as smooth as the others. I have heard that you should absolutely not remove any material on the rotor to make them work properly, is this true? Would some gentle removal be ok?

Thanks in advance

Are the corner seal holes 100% clean? I had the same problem and there was some build up in there. Cleaned it with some green scotch bright and problem solved

A mini wire brush on a dremel will work well also for cleaning the holes.

As it stands, the holes are clean. Very clean, just still a little sticky.
