Clutch/tranny questions
So I thought that my slave and/or master cylinder had went out because there is very very little pressure in the clutch. I have to push it all the way to the floor until I feel any pressure and the pedal usually sticks. However when this happened on the way home I managed to get all the way home in 2nd gear and there was a small screeching type of sound...
Now my question is does anybody think that sound could have been the throwout bearing or clutch fork because as the car sits in my garage, off and clutch disengaged, I am not able to shift into any gears...
If anybody could point me in the right direction of what they think may be up it would be very helpful.
Thanks

There is a possibility you may have more than one problem, but I would definitely fix the hydraulics first. For me, I would just change the master, slave, and line since the cars are so old, but if you are on a budget you could check for leaks at the back of the master, or under the rubber boot of the slave.

Hmm alright. Thanks guys the thing is that I did just replace clutch, pressure plate, flywheel, throwout and pilot bearing. I did notice it looks like I have a leak around my tailshaft bushing at the back of the trans. Trans possibly seized up?

Its very easy to damage the input shaft bearing while installing the transmission, if you did, the input shaft will seize up and not let anything internal move, your best bet it to drop the trans again and see if you can move the input shaft by hand once you have it out
