charge relief valve question

charge relief valve question

just went for a test drive and i was not hearing it open...so i went to take it off and the small hose on and it had pressure...is this normal?

The charge relief valve is OPEN (off) until around 4000-4200 rpms when it CLOSES (on) under load. Check this chart:

if i want to change the bov to an aftermarket one do i have to change both and what kind

You only change the one closest to the airbox which should be labeled ABV.

i got a low vacuum pressure on my boost gauge and the car is not running proper on idle could u help me on that.

i got all new hoses installed

What is your idle rpm and what is you vacuum reading at idle?
