I have an 89 GXL, which has been carbed and wired to match a 1st gen (the stock electronics were no good).

I went to start it and nothing, found the battery dead, so i charged it for a bit then set to "start". I tried to crank it and there is no starter sound, no cranking, nothing. Just a "zzzzzz" sound i'm guessing because it's on the charger. I have a fuel leak I have to fix before anything else, but what could this be? Is it more than likely the battery? The engine hasn't been cranked in 3-4 months, theres not a chance of it being froze is there?
