car will die, start up 20 mins later then die again?

im thinking fuel pump?
Half bridge 13b w/ 12a irons and s5 na rotors just pulled apart and gone through by mike vargas at angel motorsports in VA. Made the 250 mile drive home in the scorching heat with no issues getting about 17mpg lol
took it to work the next day, was fine but on the ride home after i got on it to merge a little i started to lose power. shifted into nuetral and the engine died
swapped ignitors and still nothing... didnt have any tools on me
got a ride home and came back with the trailer. swapped ignitors back and she fired right up and idled fine? was still a little warm so i drove it up onto the trailer

drove off the trailer the next day and after about 3 mins or so she was warm enough to take out for a test drive. got to the top of my street (maybe 1 mile?) and idle started to drop... i went to turn it around, and she was at 900 (should idle around 14-15) and then it died... wouldnt fire back up

walked home to get the truck and a tow strap... came back 25 mins later and she fired right up. left running to use power brakes... half way home idle was dieing again adn then she cut out once more. so it seems it's not a hot start issue but more so after she runs for a few minutes regardless of hot or cold. was thinking fuel filter so i put a new one on, same thing. leaning towards fuel pump but im really not sure...
ideas?

Carb'd? Fuel pressure gauge? FPR? What fuel pump? If you let it cool off for a day as opposed to 20 minutes does it stay running longer?

yes carb'd, weber 48ida
holley red fp running about 3.5 psi or so on the fpr. the fp gauge is broken and i need to get a new one today to see if i can recreate the issue to see if my fuel pressure is dropping when this is happening and that would be the cause. I'll update confirming if it's the fp or not after getting a gauge and recreating the issue today
