AZ car smoking

I know you guys have probably have heard this before but my car is smoking now, kinda bad. from the exhaust

it smokes at startup, sometimes at idle, and while im driving, car starts up great, and drives great too, not sure where its coming from, just wondering where i should start looking, eats a lot of oil, probably a quart a week ( i dd it)

not sure if its the turbo or oil control seals...?

its an 88 t2 motor

coolant levels havent changed either
there is a small oil leak, and theres oil on the bottom of my turbo and wastegate from a bad oil return line, have pics

pull and dry the spark plugs and reinstall them, let the engine sit overnight and remove the EGI fuse and crank the engine a few seconds then remove the plugs. if they're wet with oil then you have a tired motor.

will do but would it be lacking power and other things if it ended up being the tired motor?

What color smoke?

Blue, white?

You wouldn't experience major power loss if your engine has leaking oil control rings, or a bad exhaust turbo seal.

White smoke usually point to burning of coolant and white smoke with a blue tint is usually oil.
