QC Can you identify this electrical connector for me please ?

1989 RX-7 TII
I don't have my shop manual yet , I'm using the web to help me but sometime it is hard to find the answer.

There is a connector ( 2 wires ) inside the car on the driver side that is unplugged.
The female part has been jumped ( see red plastic connector on pictures ) and the male par ( Blue connector ) has one wire going toward the passenger side but it is unhooked laying on the floor.

I don't know if any of you know what it is or what it was for ?

Can't tell yet if I unhook something on the passenger side while doing some cleaning.
The passenger side is a bit messy , this is what I'm trying to clean right now.

It looks like a carnage I know....

Thanks for your help.
