Can anyone tell me..
Hey everyone, i'm pretty new to the whole car tuning scene, and completely new to this website, but i love rx-7's, so i got myself one (3rd gen, F3DS) and now i'm ready to make it the sweetest car i'll ever own.. but i was wondering if anyone could clue me in on rotary engines and Rx-7's in general. I have a basic understanding of how they work, but i'm not to sure of thier drawbacks/advantages, and up until today, i had no clue that anything beyond a rotar2 rotary engine even existed, what are all these 13b type and 20b type rotary engines, what does it all mean!!? hehe it's just a bit overwhelming to me right now, any info would be appreciated.

13b is the late model 2-rotor engine like your car has.
20b is a 3-rotor engine from the Eunos JC Cosmo (only in Japan).
You'll learn about the advantages and drawbacks as you continually read posts and threads on the forum. Some of them are arguable. Be sure to read the 3rd gen forum daily as it gets a lot of informative threads. There is a sticky at the top of the threads in the 3rd gen forum that is for newbies. READ IT!
