Bosch 1600cc Injectors, do they fit the stock fuel rail?

Just looking for a quick answer. I searched and some said they required modification. I may be buying a set that were used in an FD with KG rails. Thanks guys

I have bosch type 1 injectors. You have to stack o rings. I went on the internet and went to mr injectors for a set from him, I bought a set meant for 12 cyl so I had extras to stack. I forgot the exact ones, the oem ones don't fit the bosch injector very snug. You have to ask him about the size, its not listed on the website.

Also I didn't like the fitment for the grommet from injector to engine. I bought these huge o rings that were meant for a Porsche or something. I measured the injectors and the holes that were needed to fit

If you search online you will find 1 maybe 2 write-ups with pics. I did my own measuring because I felt like their method wasn't as well as I liked.

they are close but you will have to play around with some additional seals to get them to fit properly.

definitely not plug and play. The Porsche o rings sound right because I think the ones I bought that worked were for a Volkswagen, same company. Yes, there are a few write ups but not many and I wish I had book marked them. I stacked 2 smaller orings on the top if I remember correctly.

i had the same issue with the o-rings. I actually went to auto zone here and they had some orange injector rings that were fat. it was a bitch to get them in the rails but they seal to the point where the injector will not move in the rail and will only spin when done by hand, and they sit very snug in the kg rails. this eliminated the need to stack thinner o-rings, my OCD was calm after that.
