Boost problem!

So i installed and ARC air box to my car this weekend and since then im having boost problems. Before installing it i had the stock air and everything was fine, was getting 10-8-10. Now im getting like 6 to 7 then drops to like 4 and stays there and instead of going up the higher the revs just keeps loosing boost. Could it be one of the hoses coming out of the intake causing this or is just coincidence that this started after installing the intake? Its 92 FD RHD. No other mods just boost gauge. Everything else is stock. Thanks in advance guys

You left something disconnected, or you have a huge air leak. Double check to make sure everything is hooked up correctly and it is not a coincidence that this happened. If you pulled into your garage stock making boost, then pulled out with the ARC not making boost, you definitely did something incorrectly.

I agree with ACR I would add pressurizing the intercooler should not be too hard, you may want to pressurize it(with air pressure) to doublecheck it does not have a leak

Not shop air. Regulate it to 25-30 Psi

Hey guys thanks for the help!! Problem fixed. The hose coupler that holds the crossover pipe to the y-pipe came loose! I think it was semi loose before because now i realize that i was getting max like 8psi. now I'm getting the full 10psi!
