Blown water seal; Now What??

Already saw the sticky at the top of this forum on engine builders, but nothing much in the Florida area.........

Looks like my water seal is blown..........got the tester kit from NAPA and I've def got exhaust gas in my coolant..............Now what?

My local guy can rebuild it for around $3500 to $4K. I've heard many suggestions on the forum on sources for rebuilt engines.......some have said Pineapple Racing, etc..............

Looking for recommendations. Thanks.

David

Hey Diabolical...........

No, I'm in the Tampa area..........I was referring to Jeff at Maztech.............

If it were worth it, I could trailer the car over to West Palm and have Pettit replace it.............

Whaddya think and what do you know about them..........

I just read enough on Pineapple to scare the crap out of me..............seems like lots of folks with lots of problems...........

Thanks.

Pettit are one of the best in Florida. Pineapple are supposed to know what they are doing too, and are one of the best in the country for racing engines. I suspect the current noise about them is caused by them being overloaded with work.
