Picked up an 89 GXL for 800 and was told it ran when last parked in 2006. Fuel tank was removed and resealed but never installed. After sourcing missing parts I got it all back together. Wouldn't start...so ran a compression test and this is what I saw.

Blown or stuck seal. Most likely blown. Most get parked for a reason.

 

Yeah this is true. Didn't even hit 100k, guess its time to pull it out.
