block off kit on stock turbo's
I was lookin on rotary performance at their block off kit. I've got a 1993 automatic, with a ported engine and some simple other upgrades. I know that these are generally used for single turbo upgrades, (I'm still running stock twins) but I can still use some of the block off pieces can't I? And if I can, is it worth it? which ones? thanks.

Certainly you can. The plates are primarily for emissions accessory removal and have little to do with the turbo(s) you're running. I just installed a full set on my engine with stock twins.
Worth it? What are you trying to accomplish? You won't pass emissions but you will tidy up your engine a bit. If you still have a cat and an air pump, you don't need most of the plates.

usually the removal of the cat and/or air pump creates the need for block off plates. If you're going to be pulling the uim anyway and don't worry about emissions or resale, sure...
