Bet with friend - S4 transmissions

Hey guys,

Kind of a noob question here, but it will win me money when he sees it so help me
out here; Does the TurboII use a different transmission than the GTU or GTUS? Are
all FC 5 speeds the same? Thanks
-Alex

Yes the TurboII transmission is different than the N/A transmission. Turbo transmission are ribcased and the bellhousing is removeable and the n/a's have a smoothe case and bellhousing isn't removeable like the turbo transmission. Also the splines are different for the two with the the turbo input/output splines being larger.

haha Yes I win!
Does anybody know the part numbers for them?
He's buying a C's short shift kit, and maybe that would help with getting the right kit.
Are the shift mechanisms the same?
BTW I won $20 Thanks!

the shifter for ALL s4 trannys (na/turbo) are the same and will fit. S5 will need another type of shifter
