Before I put my 12a together I have a few questions about the rotor bearings and the stationary gear bearings. I haven't replaced any of them and I'm wondering whether or not I should. The engine has about 110k miles on it and has never been rebuilt before. The bearings don't have any grooves or visible wear on them, so I'm thinking that they are ok.

Should I put the motor together and check the end play on the shaft and then determine whether or not to get new bearings, or just buy them now?

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
