Hi. I relocated my battery and I have a shut off switch. the ? is how do I make the car stop running when I turn the switch off? I know it has somthing to do with the altanator and splicing some wires, does anyone know what wires or what to do?

Thanks Steve

there's a big fatty wire coming off the alternator... you gotta break that circuit somehow.

maybe try one of those 100 or 200 amp ford relays powered by the battery so when you physically disconnect the battery, it'll open the relay and disconnect the alternator.

Uh, only required if you're going drag racing.
The stock electrical system does not do this.
Just kill power to the ECU, and the engine should stop?

luckily the tracks aren't too bitchy (usually) unless your car is in the 11 second range. they didn't even check mine last time i was at the track.
