Apexi Turbo Timer A/F and O2

To run the wires for the O2 do i jsut splice my white o2 wire into the O2 sensor cable then run the black ground cable to my cars body? Will this run the A/F and the O2?

i think thats correct. thats what i did with my timer and it works fine. but the auto timer will not work properly. it will calculate the wrong idle time. just do it manually
