Anyone used these before

Hi guys just want to know if anyone has used one of these oil coolers before and what are they like?
Does the standard oil cooler have a thermostat inside or anything that I will lose if I replace the standard one?
Is this a direct fittment as the seller says it is but the outlets are on same side and not like the standard one???

All i can say is that the FD coolers has a thermostat in them, it this unit doesnt have it, ye, you will loose that. Why not go duel FD oil coolers from an R1? bolt in and go.

I know my 87 has a temp gauge port in it, if that helps at all. But you could run them in series.. Just a thought.
