Anybody know about by-passin the fuel press. reg?

I notice on my fd that Pettit by-passed the fuel press. reg. I'm lossed as to what to do about the solinoid for the fuel press. reg. Should I just leave it alone w/ nothing connected to it? what's the purpose of by passing it? and How come none of the vacuum hose diagrams show the little nipple on the passanger side of the lower manifold by the firewall?

all you do is bypass the solenoid..run a line straight from fuel pressure regulator to the manifold...
some tuners bypass the solenoid cause if that solenoid fails to work or gets stuck closed the fuel pressure regulator doesnt work (bump up pressure)
