anybody ever weld a stud on rotor housing?

like if a stud pulled the threads out
i wanna tig weld it and redrill and tap again
anyone ever done it?

No, haven't done that; also have never seen a stud rip the treads out either unless the stud was replaced and someone cross-threaded it. My best advice dude, you're going to need a new rotor housing.

Find a helicoil of the appropriate diameter, drill, tap, install.
