Am I in trouble ?

Hello guys, i'd like to hear your opinion on what has gone wrong to my car ! I own a 93 RX-7 TT , and recently, the car overheated badly. I'm talking overheated till there was not a single drop of water left in the radiator (it all leaked out) . I only noticed it when i pulled over and tried to restart the engine after shuting it down briefly, and it would NOT start , and sure enough, the temp. meter was off the scale, all the way till the end. Now that everything is back to "normal" , I am having extreme problem starting the car. It would crank and crank and crank and takes forever before it would start up. These are the symptoms. Can someone explain to me what possible problems i'm facing ?

When it eventually does crank, do you get white smoke from the exhaust?

you have warped the motor. its basically a sandwich of different metals and each expands at a different rate/amount. check your oil for gas and your exhaust for white/blue smoke.

What do you mean by "check your oil for gas" ?

typically the center "bowls", is no longer flat. the side seals won't effectively contact te plates and will allow the compression to push mixture into the center of the rotor and into the oil. so when you change the oil see if there is any gas in it as it is a sign that the plates are warped and you will need a rebuild soon.
