200 miles ago my car hit 75,000 miles and I noticed the airbag light came on and flashed in sequence of three. 100 miles later it started to flash in sequence of five. Is there any way I can turn the light off or do I really need an airbag service??

 

i had the same problem a while ago. i took it to the mazda dealership (not recomended) and was told i need a new air bag module so i got one installed. they said this should fix it but of course it still flashed after i got it back from them and paid around 200 dollars, not including labor, for it. i took it back and the 7 guy there finally got into the computer to check for the error message and fixed it i guess.

oh well, getting off topic here... all i can say is don't take it to the dealership, just take it to a local mechanic and have them tap into your cars computer and check the error message it's trying to give you. it will most likely be a LOT easier on the wallet.
