Aftermarket FD Fuel rail and keep my EGR system intact?

Guys, I have a '93 R1 (Canadian Spec), I was speaking with someone and they told me that nearly all the after market solutions they've seen\come across for secondary fuel rails had interference issues with the EGR and so if I'm going to upgrade my fuel system, I'll have to eliminate my EGR.

My car is a relatively low mileage stock car (with all the reliability mods done) that is used primarily for street driving (sometimes spirited ... okay mostly spirited) and I'm looking into doing the usual upgrade mods (Intake, SMIC, TwinPower, PFC, Fuelpump and fuel system) already have the JDM downpipe and PFS Catback.

The only missing components in my plans are the Fuel system ones, I would like to upgrade my secondary injectors, and I'm interested in knowing what options I have while also retaining Emission related stuff like the EGR.

Still on the fence if I want to stay OEM sequential setup or throw on the Greddy TD06 20G single turbo setup I have sitting in the garage. Either way, I'll need fuel system sorted out first.

An interesting option this person suggested is to have the stock secondary rail bored out to fit aftermarket injectors (ID \ Bosch), this way I get to retain the EGR.

What are the Pros and Cons of going this route? Has anyone done\heard of this being done before?

BTW, my power goals is 350rwhp ... but definitely no more than 400rwhp max for this car ... with OEM turbo, I'll be happy with ~325rwhp tho.

the aftermarket fuel rails hit the Air Control Valve (ACV), which is for the air pump, the EGR is on the other side of the intake.

the FD uses side feed injectors, which means that a top feed rail is going to be taller and hit the ACV.

you can have the injectors bored out, but for whatever reason this seems to be hit and miss if they will work or not.

the US tuners want to keep 4 injectors and just run bigger ones, but the JDM tuners like to add injectors, and the power FC will run 6 injectors without any issue, as long as you have the right impedance.

Ok so no ACV means the cat won't survive for too long right?
What aftermarket cat options do I have that would survive in a rotary environment like the FD?

BTW, the type of sniff test they do over here is by cycling between High and Low Idle, so I'm hoping a hi-flo cat with proper tuning can help me pass it.
