ACV block of plate needed ?

Hallo,

I removed my air pump and now im suffering Idle problems. Is it needed to install a block off plate to remove the ACV or is it enough to seal the air hose?

Other question, is a block off plate needed when an powerfc is installed or will the powerfc "ignore" the ACV?

Best regards
Bastian

The PFC has the ability to learn the idle when you say you have idle problems is it not wanting to idle? Idling low, high, or dying? When I switched my setup it took about 10 minutes or so of 'teaching' the PFC to idle with the A/C and stuff.

The PFC ist not installed yet, I'm using the OEM ECU. It was just a hypothetical question.

So, do I need to block off the ACV on the OEM ECU or is sealing the air hose enough?

Don't think the stock ECU likes non - stock set ups. Either put the air pump back on or run an aftermarket ECU

You'll need to at least unplug the ACV, block off plate is better, if you left the ACV plugged in the ECU is still trying to cycle it normally, and with it just plugged off your choking it out
