91 Na transmission problem see inside for details
I recently bought a 91 na that needed a clutch.
I was able to get the clutch to engage in it at about 4000 rpm. So i decided that since i was going to have the tranny down i would do a lightened flywheel and beefed up clutch and pressure plate. Ive installed a few rwd clutches so i decided that i would give it a try.
Well anyway i have everything back up and together. I went to start the car and try to shift into gear and nothing. I start the car with it in first and the car takes off. I cant shift at all. so i rebleed the system. and nothing. I checked and found that the piston of the slave cylinder wasnt on the fork. I rebled the system. (also ill mention that i have to floor the clutch alot further than normal to get it to start) and now i still have to floor the clutch and it still lunges forward and i still cant shift out of neutral. I checked the manual and i installed the disc right (with the thicker spring side facing toward the rear of the car). im lost.. im desperate .. someone please help me
