91 N/a Lsd Install How To?

i tried to take out my LSD from my 91 n/a and it will not come out. i have taken out an 86 and it was much easier due to teh fact the 86-88 (i think are the same) have bolts that come out of the front mounting point (front = nearest propeller shaft). the 89-91 have nuts (heh, is that the right term for those?) that come off but there is the tread stil sticking out though the mount. my question is...... HOW CAN I TAKE OUT THE WHOLE LSD!? i tried for 12 hrs using a pry bar trying to get that sh*t out!!! the manuals are patetic.... all they say is 'loosen the mounting bolts and let the left side hang, then remove'!?!? PLEASE HELP!!!!

You talking about the LSD *inside* the rear diff or dropping the rear diff itself?

Yep, I believe you need to drop the whole rear suspension subframe assembly.&nbsp I've heard of people not requiring to do this, but I have never figured out how to without dropping that whole subframe.
