Help! my check engine light blinks for a few times then stay on usually when i driven the car for like an hour. The light comes on when my foot wasnt on the gas or clutch and goes away when i put my foot on the gas. i also notice when the light blinks my RPM jumps between 500-800 just up and down.

 

Pull the codes to see if the ECU has reported a specific problem.

I bet is TPS
but make sure the engine is fully grounded to the body or chasiss.

i do have similar problem but the engine light only goes off when i press the gas pedal.
