hi

i have an 87 t2. And i can start the car started but i have to keep my foot on the gass and when i let off the gass it go down to about 1500rpm for a second and than the car dies and i just replaced all the vacume lines so it cant be a vacume leak. dose anyone have an ida what it could be thanks.

 

Maybe a fuel problem.
Run some fuel system, and injector cleaner.
If that doesnt work then check your fuel filter and fuel pump.

 

I checked the fuel and it seems to be fine. I also found some plugs that connect the thing behind the uim and the thing that is blow the bac that hooks into the air pump also has one i have no ida where they plug to and i dont see anything that it might go into. Any idas what they are maby to power something?
