My car starts but it tends to stall on me. Its not that i dont drive stick cause i been driven stick for a very lo9ng time now. lol Anyway my friend thinks its the cat. converter. and fuel tank. Thats the person i bought it from. But it keeps stalling. so im gonna clean the cat out but if anyone thinks its something else could ya tell me. thanks.

its not your cats... do a search on timing and idle speeds

 

Bad catalitic converters will cause a horrible smell like rotten eggs. Or my ex. Try cleaning the intake and check your idle and fuel filter. You might be better just doing a full tune up and see if that cures the prob. If not then it prob needed to be done anyway.
