If its conductive, it will work

I jumped mine with mechanics wire, than proceeded to leave it plugged in for a month before discovering it still plugged in lol

Ok so I warmed up my engine, jumped the coupler, and tried to adjust my idle but when i turn the screw my rpms stayed the same.. what could be wrong? my TPS is not adjusting right and I most likely need a new one, but is the idle supposed to change even if the TPS is bad?
