I am not even sure it is a problem, the alternator I had on my car previously quit working, when I removed it the ground bolt had corroded bad enough that it just broke off, the boot on the ground wire was sortof melted and crispy. My second alternator, wasnt new when I put it on, has gone out, did not have corrosion very bad, could I have a bad ground or something that is killing my alternators? I am going to get a new alternator to put it on to see i fit helps but i dont like just throwing parts a my cars.

any thoughts will be appretiated,
