5th gear grindage
So, car developed the typical 5th gear grind. I have the pdf for repair and all parts needed. Went to my local mazda dealer today (which they are a joke) and they said all parts were available except for the shift spindle part number R501-17-476
My question is does anyone know of a line on them made aftermarket that are reputable ... or a good part number if this one is bad to check back with local dealer as they refused to look up the actual part

Contact Ray Crowe for an OEM shift select spindle.
If you are replacing your 5th gear syncro, you may want to replace the bearing(s) that are pulled to get it out. I didn't think about them when i did mine, but when you're in there might as well (1. they could be worn, 2. you're pulling them out anyway, and 3. when you pull them out, you put pressure on the bearings which could damage them)
