i just picked up a turbo rotary, not sure which year, but its from japan. the engine looks exactly like this...


will this engine fit into a 1st gen rx-7?

anyone know the specific year?

ima noob, i did do some searching found quite a bit.

 

Judging by the plunger style AFM, the engine is probably a S5 (89-91).

Some people have swapped these into 1st gens. I've only seen a S4 N/A put into a GSL model in person though.
