2nd Gen Turbo II smoking!!
well guys, lately my 1989 Turbo II has been smoking a bit too much for my liking. when i leave to go to school in the morning its fine, but then when i get out of class to go home, it starts smoking....quite a bit. it comes and goes too. like im sitting at idle and its just pouring out, but then when im on the gas its gone and when i let off the gas i can still see some out the mirrors. can someone please help me with my car? i just bought it a few weeks back and i dont want to fork out the money for a rebuild (pending its a coolant seal or something else internal)
i do notice my coolant gets low after i drive. and also, my turbo oil return line is kinked so im guessing oil is getting back up and sucked out the exhaust.
7,000mi on rebuilt streetported motor
2,500mi on new or maybe rebuilt turbo.
might i add then when i gave the car an oil change about a week back it rarely did this. the only thing i did was take a rag out of the engine bay that the guy left in there. not sure if served a purpose or what-not. but anyway, can you guys help me out?

Sounds like you need to rebuild the motor..
7k miles on a rebuilt motor?? humm either he lied to you or it's already blown..was it broken it properly?? do you have receipts for everything done supposedly to the car's motor?? if not u got baked..Well smoking means rebuild..
collant comsumption usually means rebuild..check ur thermostat and radiator cap first(replace) and if this dosent cure your problem it's time for a rebuild..
