i got a 82 rx7 and the warning lights in the guage cluster flicker on and off as i drive. sometimes at a redlight they will stay off or on until the light turns green and i start moving.

any clues? any ideas?

 

problem fixed. changed the alternator this weekend and no more flickering lights. my guess is that the voltage regulator in the alternator went bad. probably explains why the volt guage for the battery was at 16 instead of like 14. anyways problem fixed.
