1983 RX-7 Misfire

I have a 1983 RX-7 1.1, carburated that intermittently lacks power/ misfires at nearly all speeds. I have tested both coil outputs and they are good, ignition timing is right on, I installed plugs, wires, cap and rotor with no change. Perform cylinder balance and vehicle has intermittently has no output from #2 cylinder. Now, the strange thing about the misfire is that it always hits on both rotors at idle and if you accelerate hard it has good power output and runs very smooth. When you accelerate it slow it will start to miss and usually will not clear up until the vehicle is idled again. I performed a compression test with a regular gauge, schrader valve removed and saw it bounce to around 90 psi on all three sides, both cylinders. If this sounds like something that anyone is aware of or if anyone has any information it would be very much appreciated. I am not very familiar with rotary motors but consider myself at least diagnostically competent enough to figure out nearly anything. Thanks in advance!

sounds like a carb issue

because it runs fine when you full throttle it and its getting fuel through the accelerator pump and under themain circuit. do you have another carb you could swap?

I don't believe that it is a carb issue as it intermittently runs great, but thanks for the input.
