1979 RX-7 with Starting Problem

Hello Fellow RX7 owners,

I have a problem with my rotary engine not turning over. It just seems to click and that's all.

I replaced the Regulator and starter with cellinoid but it still keeps clicking. I've also checked the battery and alternator and everything checks out.

All suggestions are welcome.

Best regards,
Mark

Moving this to a forum where you're more apt to get help. You posted it in the website-related comments and suggestions forum, which is not the best place for it.

Good luck on the fix.

welcome to the board.

you should have the starter checked - just in case. i know you said replaced it, but sometimes new (i'm assuming it's NEW) parts come to you broken. it happens.

however, you may want to spend some time going through and checking things like fusible links (though it probably wouldn't click) and checking your contact points (battery terminal connections and grounding points). clean them well and make sure they are connected tightly.
