1974 Rx3 Turbo, 13b rew conversion, need help

I currently have a 74, with a jspec 89-91 motor. I changed the front cover on the motor and i sat the turbo block where the stock 12a goes, that's to give you guys an idea of my set up.

62-1 turbo, b/b.
custom manifold, etc.

My question is what do i have to do to swap my block and use a 13b rew from a cosmo? Can anyone help, my motor is leaking water into the front housing, and need to replace it asap.

just change the front cover and oil pan exactly how you did to you previous engine.any 12a or gsl-se front cover will work, and the oil pan and pick up from a gsl-se.

Yo Dave,

If I use the cosmo motor it should be fine right? I'm looking for a 89-91 block, do you have one for sale, or know anyone that does?

Will I have any issues in bolting the tranny, will I have to push the tranny back? I'm assuming the lenght of the motor is the same as the 89-91 right?

Will the turbo manifold bolt up to the new cosmo motor?

Thanks for your reply.

The block is the same length and bolt pattern as any 13b motor.I don't know what type of engine management you are running but only some things change from years like injector plugs and some other sensors etc.your manifold should fit the same as your other engine.if any questions pm me.
