My '94 FD runs great but according to my PFC is knocking all the time, more so under boost. I have recorded up to 189. Do y'all think I actually have a problem or just need a new sensor. I don't want to buy a $200 sensor if I don't need one. I'm running stock boost with a few bolt ons. Thanks

 

who tuned your map ? do you have AI ? , Normally if your knock stays at the same level even if its high . it may be ok .


but if your knock is normally at 40 , and then spikes to 189during boost you may want to retune

 

Also, what fuel are you running and Do you change your fuel filter often enough?
