hey guys im looking to swap a 13b from one fc to another. this will be my first swap. its a non turbo. im looking to find out if there is a step by step process that is pretty quck and simple for a first timmer. thanks guys for yor help

 

if they're both the same engine it should be pretty straightforward. make note of what you unplug from where, masking tape with letters or numbers helps.

as was said, label everything. masking tape and a permanent marker will take you a long way. a decent shop manual should be all you need. in addition ...

1. be patient. take your time.
2. be somewhat gently with wire connectors. they are pain in the *** to fix and they can and do break during disconnection at times.
3. i always replace bolts to the holes they come from (and nuts to their studs) so (A) they don't mixed and (B) they don't get lost. a few extra minutes will save you frustration, and in some cases, possible failures.

i'd start with disconnecting the wiring first.
