13B-RE ecu with manual tranny???

Ok guys, Im currently doing a 13B-RE swap in my FC with a FD transmission. Im using the cosmo ecu wich is made for an auto tranny. My question is can i use this ecu even with a manual tranny? Im thinking of no but some people told me it could work. The guy who had the engine before was running it in a FD with the cosmo ecu and a manual tranny. I dunno if its true or not(this guy is a weird one :S). I noticed that there are no wires that are going from the engine harness to the tranny. It's kinda giving me some hope....

Thnx a lot

Phil

wires from the ecu go the the EC/AT controller and then the inhibitor switch.

ecu will run without, but it will have codes
