13b Miata = Daaaaaaaaaaang

Would a 13b fit into a miata? If so, what would it be like and how would it be possible. Now don't get me wrong, rotary engines belong in airplanes (shout to Tracy) and RXs only, but hypothetically.... P.S. - I wrote about it here because FC is my gen and I trust the FC forums the most but I am away that a miata is not even an RX-7. So to keep it pert, an 87 stripped NA, A-Spec, full swap, mildly ported.

BTW - If there has already been a big topic on this, will somebody link to if for me because in the search I get too many hits because we already use Miatas for so much anyway.

Been done many times, involves custom mounting, some people beat the firewall back, Iceblue made a custom front subframe which is my plan also.

The car has got to be wicked fast. Like eyeballs dropping into your throat fast. Kinda like a 13b in an MG. I want more dtails and specifics because I want something cool to talk about when I go visit Bruce Turrentine in a couple months on my way through NC; which, btw, I'm down for an ECR meet to honor such a legend. But forget money, I just want something unique and craaaaaaaazy to fantasize about when I'm working in my factory making 1 bazillion whoseywhatsits and widgets.

I think if it's possible for you, go for it. I would personally like to see it and what it can do.
I mean like dyno and everything, this would be a great write up and would be even better if you could maybe throw a video in after it's done...right?

hmmmm.... Ive been considering this too... I dont think my Miata makes a nice enough Hummmmm.... so ive decided that when the engine blows, im putting in my S4 13B into it... so it has been done? My real question is how Similar is the Transmission and driveline is to the RX-7?

That would be one bad *** Miata. I have a video of a 20B in an AE86... pretty nuts. Also there is a guy around the DC area with a 13B in a MG (RX-Midget) really crazy car.
