12a rebuild

So on my last thread i thought i had a firing issue. I did a compression test and it was around 30psi, as recommended by a member i proceeded to take the carb off and get some MMO in the engine, the plan was to rebuild the carb and drop the gas tank while the MMO sat and did its thing but in the process of trying to get the carb of a ran into multiple issues: 1. ive never taken a carb off a rotary or off a engine that was still in the car, 2 the bolts are rusted to ****, 3 i broke and off and rounded off many of the bolt heads. So now im completely frustrated i dont even know how to put it back together cause there was 2 of us disconnecting and taking off stuff, so now im pulling the engine and rebuilding it which is part of the plan but i at least wanted to get it running before i pulled it out. My plan for this car is to drift it and the reasoning is because i never see first gens out on the track, idk if they are a good platform and i dont really care, i still have an awesome vision for this car. Anyway sense this is drift car are there any other unnecessary things i can delete from the engine bay?

I still want to keep the pop ups in working order, and i want to replace the antenna with on of those bumper marker things that are on some Japanese cars

Also if anyone knows any good rotary specialists in GA let me know
