Cool 12a difference

Hey fellow rotorheads,

just got my 2nd rx7 a mint condition 85 gsl......

beautiful shape.....motor has 200,000 ks on it though but runs really strong no smoke or oil leaks, so i think i got lucky......sides the guy gave me a spare motor and tranny anyhow....

anyhow, question is this...i had a header and custom exhaust on my 79' model which died due to rust....will this header also fit my 85 block...12a....

in other words, are the bolt patterns for the exhaust the same right the way through......

sorry for rambling

Paul

Pistons?!!,.....I don need no steenken pistons

As far as I can tell, tell, it will bolt right up...or thats what I've been told anyway(when I was looking for a replacement engine for my '85)
