New front and rear brake pads are now in place. My camera batteries went out so the only picture I could take is of the rear new pads in place.

This is just a quick fix, I will be replacing the front and rear rotors with slotted units, paint the calipers, replace the stock brake hoses with stainless steel hoses, replace the front and rear wheel bearings, and paint the brake booster.

To be continued...

198108 109795929186877 318574565 n Brake fluid resevior now in place. Word of advise, remove the brake fluid resevior while the brake master cylinder is still in place, and install it the same way. Be sure to lube the rubber grommets too, or you will have a hard time pressing the brake fluid resevior back in place.

The final piece to the puzzle is now in place. It was a long and hard search, but it's over now. I bought this TII hood today from Spanks13 for $100.00, and it only needs a wash, buff and wax.

DSCI1536 The final product. The swap is complete, the red wires are for my City Lights, I'll remove them later and reinstall for a tuck look. The engine is looking rough, I plan on going through the top end, ugrading to a fmic, clean up (declutter) the engine bay, install an emissions block off plate kit, upgrade the pulley's, etc.

DSCI1494 My f/l hard break line just arrived today from Mazdatrix, I'll install it tomorrow morning, and bleed the brake system. I might install f/r brake pads too, but I want to get my car to the muffler shop before they close.

DSCI1493 I reconnected and installed resisitor. Mazda is so smart, there were reisiter holes that were factory plugged already there, no drilling : ).
