What's that bump on the hood? The air cleaner sits below it.

How do those lights work? They "roll" over 180 degrees from right to left. The operation is completely manual, with a big lever on the center console that you force forward to rotate the lights up, yank back on to rotate them down.

Hate the big license plate! Must have for CA.

Bodies were built in France, then shipped by train to Russelsheim in Germany where the cars were assembled.

Approximately 80k cars were built between 1968 and 1973. How many are left? Who knows.

But a nice one like mine is worth much more in Europe than here in the U.S. because 80% of the build came to North America, where they were sold through Buick dealers.

Crazy curved glass all around; a sure sign this car was built by a BIG company - in this case General Motors.

Stock engine with a few reliability mods including aluminum AST.

Though the car is a Touring Edition the R1 strut brace was added by the previous owner.

Touring Edition Red Leather interior. Completely stock including Bose stereo.

Mazda data indicates there were 24 cars with this combination - Silverstone Metallic Silver over Red Leather - imported into the U.S. in 1994.

What a nice ___!

Look closely and you'll see two after-market gauges on the driver's side A-pillar. One is for temp, the other is for boost. No holes drilled for installation.

One of my favorite angles to look at the FD. I just love all those curves!
