LHS mirror fits nicely, the mirror doesn’t need to pivot much to get to the appropriate angle. It does seat a little off but it is not sticking out of the housing.

I think a little bit of material needs to be removed from this edge so the mirror as a perfect seating angle. Not much.

As you can see , the mirror need to be move a lot to get the proper angle , enough to stick out of the housing...enough that , water , debris , insect could get inside
