well im parting out my 84
it has a 12a with 70,000 miles
racing beat header
racing beat presilencer
custom 2.5" mid pipe
stainless steel dtm muffler
all exhaust equipment is only a couple months old with minimum usage

i have a full gsl-se suspension but i may swap it over to an 85 im thinking of buying,

if thats the case then i will still have a gsl posi disc brake rear end for sale

im located in south east michigan

im so broke that im on my way to jail for un paid tickets so everything must go

i also had to put the weber 45 dcoe setup i just got for sale on ebay
im gonna cry when i have to let it go

heres the run down on the system

racing beat header
racing beat presilencer
bosche triple platinum o2 sensor already installed for use with a a/f gauge
then it goes to a 2" pipe "because the rb presilencer is 2"
then i had them bump the pipe to 2.25" half through
and it goes into a dtm muffler which is still in mint condition "as is the rest of the exhaust"

ok i will give up the complete system for $325.00

considering it has less then 500 miles on it,
truthfully it shows when you see the exhaust
the custom job cost me $200.00
and that includes all new gaskets
even the racing beat header gasket
the muffler costs me $130.00
its stainless steel with steel whool packing so no blow outs
the header and presilencer i got a deal on but was still over $100.00

the setup sounds great
it has a nice low tone at idle
then the famous killer bee buzz at high rpm

i will make a vid of it spittin flames if someone will host it

 

Damn, that REALLY sucks that you have to part it out. I just wish that this was a couple months later so I had some money and could help you out and take a couple things off your hands.

well ok since everyone wants to know why im not choosing jail over my baby its because i already have another 1st gen lined up to buy

dont know if i will get it runnin though

i hate to get rid of the one i spent all this time and work on but i will get the most out of it,

and thats not the only reason
if things pick up and start to go ok then i will be buying a gsl-se this winter and starting a nice project with it,

i have already owned 5 rx7's and they come and go

believe me im not abandoning them

the only cars i have ever owned in my life are rx7's

some are better then others
and some are harder to part with then others

but each one i get seems to become better then the last

lets also not forget jail
and bad frame damage

i would be willing to sell the hood,
im keeping the wing for now

 

i did not get in any accidents,
the body has virtually no rust,

its just the frame that is rusted beyond repair
