Eastbear's are done

The light pattern and brightness are 1000% better than stock, but I'm still going to convert the lows to HID

I really like the look of the Eastbears. You don't have to hack up the car to put them in, the quality is excellent, def. the most bang for your buck.

I thought the lighting on the RE was just as bad or worse than the stock lights?

Maybe it's just me, but I don't find the stock lights all that bad. Might be because the lights on the 'Cuda I used to have were so dim that I left the brights on constantly and I never had one person flash their brights back at me........ Still, I got by. The stock lights seem up to par IMO.

very nice turbovr6

I was not sure whether I was going to like the Eastbears or not. I think people really need to see them in person before committing on whether they like them or not. I do not have my car back with them and everthing else on. But, I have seen my car with them on a couple of times now and I REALLY like them. I even went as far as having the body shop paint my stock headlight covers in case I did not like the Eastbears once they were on.

I think once more people start seeing them in person, more people will like them. They are indeed a high quality kit. The fiberglass pods needed very little finishing before painting which is just the opposite of the Petit fiberglass parts that I got. Hell, if the Petit parts were as nice as the Eastbear fiberglass work, it would be saving me at least $500 from the body shop bill.

Anyway, very nice IMO.

those look great!

what size lights do they use?
how much for the HID swap?
and how much did you pay to get them painted?

I can't think of any more dumb questions right now...

manatecu,

Looks good, but I hope you have an appoint with a body shop soon to get that stuff painted.

As of for the kit, I like the RE Amiyas better, I like the plexiglass over the light housing.

Well I have a few more things to do before I get it painted. I just got everything together this past weekend. The nose is off my just a hair so I need to fix it or I will never be happy. I can only work on my car on the weekends so everything I have done is taking a while. When I finish it will all be painted Porsche Red. I do have to take it all apart again so I will take some pictures of what I cut and how much. Maybe this weekend.
