Save The Seven Campaign

before this gets moved I'd like to say this is for 1st gens only.

ok as most of you know i'm outta work and outta money,
some of my rx7 woes have been posted in threads in this section.
I cant get my rex legal cause i dont have the $800.00 to do so.
and when i start getting tickets paid off i get more for parking in front of my own house and expried tabs.
round and round it goes.

so heres the deal,
I'm working on custom gauge cluster but have alot of custom gauge faces that i dont need.

So I'm selling them in a save my 7 effort.

The price is $40.00 Shipped to your door.
i have a bunch of styles to choose from.
My gauge faces are easier to install then anyone else's,
There high quality 1,200 dpi, and water resistant.

as long as i have the template saved on my comp you can choose any style font you want including the stock font.
you can also choose any color font you want.
below you will find some examples.
P.m. me if you are interested.

also the gauges will come precut for you,
all you have to do is unscrew your old ones,
remove the faces,
put my faces in their place,
put the screws back in,
your done

your old gauge faces do not get damaged in the process,
so if you want to reuse your old gauge faces then you still have that option.
you do not need to remove the whole cluster to install my faces,
please do not reffer to anyones installation guides for my faces,
i will give you step by step instructions,
there very easy to do.

no we have a "hillbilly law"
no really thats what its called,
its not the maid thats getting me,
i live on a regular side street,
but throughout the whole city theres no parking on any side street between 3-5 a.m. unless you have a permit,
my permit is expired and they wont give me a new one until i get new tabs.

trust me its all a big catch 22

Have you thought about sourcing a supply of electro-luminescent pads and then applying a clear copy of your work over that for a true Indiglo gauge cluster? If I sent you my spare cluster would you give it a shot? I'll have to dig out one of my science catalogs if you don't have a source for the E-L pads already, but I'm sure it's become a common thing in the model and train hobby biz. I've always wanted to buy one of the sample kits to light up my center console switch pad between the seats but keep getting side-tracked from finishing the aluminum panel. They normally run off a 9 volt source, so some kind of step-down transformer would be needed, I think, for it to run on the car's electrical system...obviously, if you could pull this off, it would be worth much more than your current effort, monetary-wise. I'm sure a lot of rexrs would step up to the plate for the real thing, too...food for thought....

NICE IDEA! You are the man...
That way it WOULD be true indiglo and no additional lighting would be required..

I think on a 79 you can do it w/o pulling the wheel, I may be wrong wbout that tho... Just remove the trim ring, and then 2 screws behind it. Then from the underside there are 2 screws there a bitch. Then pull forward, and remove the spedo cable and the wiring harness

i have the knowledge,
i have the step down boxes,
i have to use two double stacked for the leds
it goes 12-5 then 5-2.5

anyway hook me up with some uses for these pads,
some common uses of places that i would be able to get them cheap.
dont give me your places to buy though,
chances are shipping will be too much,
i need to find a place close by
